More About Building a Super-Sticky Homepage
NextStage: Predictive Intelligence, Persuasion Engineering, Interactive Analytics and Behavioral MetricsI wrote about my IMediaConnection article, How to Build a Super Sticky Homepage in some previous posts (How to Build a Super Sticky Homepage, Why are so many pages male oriented? (part 1) and Why are so many pages male oriented? part 2), and today I noticed that Symblaze Research had also blogged the article. Many thanks for that.
I also wanted to address the concerns of one of my readers here in regards to that article.

The reader's first concern was "...you haven't addressed the fundamental issues: how to actually build a page." I may be misunderstanding the question because I thought I covered the topic pretty well in that article and in several of my other IMedia writings. If people would like me to discuss this in more detail, please either email me or comment here and I'll see what I can do.
The reader was also concerned that the results in the article were based on "my" personal tastes...that's not the case. The information provided was done by an automated tool, TargetTrack, as mentioned in the article and which is marketed by NextStage Global and NextStage Evolution. This tool is based on about 16 years of research so far, some of which is described in my next book, Reading Virtual Minds.
I've described how this tool determines gendering of material on this blog, and Why are so many pages male oriented? (part 1) is probably a good place to start for those interested. If people really want to go into this in detail, you can take part in a training or seminar.
The last concern was for me to "...please provide an explanation." So again, please let me know if I haven't made myself clear or explained something fully and I'll do my best to answer your questions here or in a future column, and thanks.
